There is a metaphoric relationship between atmospheric winds
and the attitude you take in your life.
Have you ever experienced the power of hurricane force
winds? Describing them as “driving”
would be an understatement.
However, discounting the destruction of hurricanes
(typhoons) they do offer an excellent example of the meaning of the word,
compelling. Everything in their path is
forced to bend to the wind’s direction.
Wouldn’t it be great to have everything in the path of your
life bend in the direction you wish?
Consider the following thoughts to see how you could make
that happen.
The science behind the development of hurricanes and
typhoons is very complex. There are so
many atmospheric conditions that go into their formation.
There seems to be one constant, however. These winds are all driven by their sister
winds called the Jetstream.
Those winds move at will around the entire planet. They're
inexorable, powerful, always moving, always mixing, and ever present.
But this isn’t a training session on windstorm development
theory. However, I see a metaphoric
relationship between that theory and the attitude you take in your life. Think about it this way…
Wouldn't it be great if you could have a similar force to a
Jetstream in your life?
It would be a force that would keep you inexorably moving
toward your dreams and goals. A force as powerful and dominant as the winds in
the atmosphere of your planet.
Such a force in your life would guarantee your success
because it would disperse through your entire existence. It would make you
become all you can be.
There is such a force, you know.
It's a force so pervasive and powerful it's like it's in the
wind. It buffets your entire being and pushes you to where you want to go.
The force? It's hope.
Christopher Reeve said it best...
Christopher Reeve said it best...
"Once you choose hope, anything's possible."
Hope...it's in the wind of your mind's atmosphere if you
choose to act with confidence, courage, and consistency.
What are you going to do to create even
more hope in your life?
