There’s a former Pop hit song the lyrics of which capture the essence of the message in this post.

Now, I’m not talking about a hit song within the last decade.  How about, roughly, a half century ago?  Yet, its message is as contemporary as the 21^st century.

It was a lovely, little ditty sung by the late, great Dean Martin.  It was…MemoriesAre Made of This. 

I’ll let you guess the repetitive lyrical phrase in the song.

There’s a direct connection between the key message in that song and your future.  The challenge you have is your future will only be as bright as you make the present.

The reality is your present becomes the past and your future becomes the result.  In other words, you carry the memories from your present into the future.
